Hike Bike & Paddle
I’m sure that the current situation with the Coronavirus is at the top of everyone’s minds. After much thought and research, we’d like to share our plans for the Hike Bike & Paddle on April 19th. The situation is fluid and changing fast, but as of this writing, the event will go on as planned, with some protective measures. The transition area will have hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes available to all. We are asking all participants to please stay home if you’re sick, as well as bring your own hand sanitizer and use it liberally. The CDC is recommending sanitizers with an alcohol content of at least 60 percent.
Most importantly, please use your best judgement regarding whether or not to come to the race! If you choose to cancel, please understand that there will be no refunds. We will, however, maintain a list of people that were not able to register, so you can transfer your spot to them.
All of that being said, if Bladensburg Waterfront Park is closed, we will have no other choice than to cancel. If that occurs, we will provide a full refund.
Again, this is a very fluid situation; we will continue to keep everyone updated as new information becomes available.
